Hours: 40 hours per week, flexible shift patterns, no evening shifts
Salary: £14 - £16 per hour (negotiable for the right candidate)

Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a a dynamic, vibrant and leading health and social care establishment located in the heart of Kingston Upon Thames, renowned for their innovative and delicious menu. They pride themselves on using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create exceptional dining experiences for their residents. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join the team and lead their kitchen to new heights.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver fresh high-quality food consistently.
- Develop innovative menu items and maintain a high standard of food presentation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal and promotional menus.
Requirements:
- Relevant culinary qualifications and proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a kitchen team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Flexible approach to work, with availability for daytime shifts only.
