Empowering Learning are a market leading education recruitment company. We are working in partnership with a large Secondary Academy in Sheffield who are looking to appoint a Design Technology Technician to help support the smooth running of the DT Department.

The job
- The school is looking for an experienced Design and Technology Technician to support within the DT department, preparing materials for lessons, ensuring health and safety records are maintained, calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- Reporting to the Head of Design Technology to work collaboratively as part of the team to support practical lessons, organise materials, and provide vital upkeep to the department.
The successful candidate will
- Have at least 1 year experience as a DT Technician in a UK School.
- Be Health and Safety conscious with an eye for detail.
- Be organised and able to work well alone and as part of a team
- Contribution to impact on the quality of the provision of learning within the department.
