My client is looking for a driven Group Financial Accountant to support the finance team with preparing financial statements, maintaining records, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role offers a growth opportunity for a motivated candidate to make a meaningful impact as the company scales.

Description

  • Review balance sheets and operating costs for UK and US entities.
  • Oversee and improve foreign subsidiary reporting.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated accounts, journal entries, and board schedules.
  • Enhance P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
  • Provide financial data for management as needed.
  • Support technical accounting issues and create supporting documents.
  • Handle accounting for acquisitions and physician incentive liabilities.
  • Prepare year-end IFRS consolidated statements and UK subsidiary reports.
  • Manage the year-end audit and liaise with external auditors.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants in the UK and US.
  • Manage UK and US tax provisions, payments, and transfer pricing.
  • Oversee US tax compliance with consultant support.
  • Assist the Group FC with process improvements, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Participate in finance projects and BAU tasks for UK and US entities.

  • Able to work independently, proactively drive initiatives, and meet deadlines.
  • Dependable and detail-oriented.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with expertise in data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Brings fresh ideas and suggestions for improvement.
  • Willing to take a hands-on approach when needed.
  • Experience with a top 5 accountancy firm.
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
