Accounts Payable Assistant

I am currently collaborating with a well-known logistics company that is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a 2-3 month contract. The position will start in Bicester and transition to Banbury in September.

As part of a small yet dynamic finance team, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and handle all purchase ledger and expense functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, matching them with Purchase Orders
  • Prepare payment runs to ensure timely and accurate supplier payments
  • Regularly reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Manage query resolutions involving suppliers, internal stakeholders, and sub-contractors
  • Perform ad-hoc duties such as data entry, document management, reporting, and compliance
  • To excel in this role, you need strong attention to detail and numerical skills. Previous Accounts Payable experience is advantageous, but recent graduates looking for their first finance role are also encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Sage Line 50 and MS Excel is required.

This office-based role, will begin in Bicester and move to Banbury. The client offers flexible hours, accommodating both part-time and full-time schedules.
