  • Salary: £12.18 per hour PAYE
  • Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

My client, a leading public sector organisation, are looking for a dedicated Data Management Officer to join their Policy and Compliance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the front-line services and will be part of a team that is committed to excellence and development.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Handle telephone and face-to-face enquiries, providing specific information and advice to customers.
  • Perform general office duties including filing, storing information, and other administrative tasks.
  • Conduct word processing, mass data input, reconciliation, and maintain electronic and paper-based systems with high accuracy.
  • Assist with the completion of returns and carry out additional duties as required by the service.
  • Organise and support meetings and appointments as necessary.
  • Ensure all data and information is accurate and stored appropriately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working within a business support environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in accurately recording data, reconciliation, simple analysis, and presentation.
  • Experience of working with financial information is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to interact effectively with the public, colleagues, and external organisations.
