Part-time, remote role - New Business Development Manager – MDF replacement sales (100% recyclable alternative) into Kitchens / Doors / House Build / Decorative / Acoustic Wall Panels industries. This exciting logistics company has the distribution rights for a game changing newly-invented material which can make a major contribution to planetary decarbonisation.

As a sales introducer you will empower your clients to hugely improve their own "green credentials", by incorporating this new 100% recyclable material into their supply chain.

More details below but, please note, this is a ‘commission only' Introducer role. It's not a typical contract or part-time role with defined hours, it's a position you can run in ‘background mode', alongside your other projects and activities, perhaps spending just 1-2hrs per week on, or as much as you wish.

The 100% recyclable product replaces MDF (which is hard to recycle, at best 20% fibres can be recovered end of life, with the remainder going to landfill) and offers a superior panel board for all types of construction, building and furniture needs. It provides a pathway for manufacturers to really differentiate their products and offer something vastly more eco-friendly.

This is a chance to use your network. The company seeks to collaborate with seasoned MDF sales / business development professionals – with strong Kitchens/Doors/House Build/Decorative-Acoustic Wall Panels experience – and contacts - who can act as ‘introducers' - identify new sales leads, establish rapport and essentially create 'warm' appointments for them to present to and sell the solution.

They have a number of major manufacturers who have successfully passed the material through stringent tests and controls, which have been achieved with full approval.

This is a commission-only introducer position, and you'd have a direct contract with the client.

  • The client offers a 4% of revenue commission rate, which keeps paying whilst the client maintains the contract (for up to a total of 5 years)
  • A typical recent contract was £975,000 over 3 years delivering commission of £39,000

The role will probably suit an entrepreneurial sales person who is combining this with other non-competitive activities.
