Copy & Content Manager

This role is based out of their Northampton office 2 days per week & the rest WFH.

Salt have partnered with a client within the Supply chain & Logistics industry who are on a mission to transform & digitise the industry with a first-of-its-kind service/product.

In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping and enhancing the brand through strategic and engaging content. Copywriting will be at the core of everything you do.

As the Copy & Content Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that will help build & promote the brand, product, and services.

You will craft compelling and informative copy across all channels to help them become thought leaders within their space. Your role will also involve editing content to ensure a consistent tone and voice across all channels.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and proofread written content for marketing campaigns, blog articles, and more.
  • Develop and manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, to align content with brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Conduct research on industry-related topics to generate new content ideas and stay up to date with trends.
  • Optimising content for search engines to improve organic traffic and rankings.
  • Track and analyse content performance using appropriate metrics and tools.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Copywriting position.
  • Experience or knowledge of the logistics or supply chain industry would be a major bonus but not essential.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in SEO and keyword research to optimise content.
  • Strong understanding of content management systems and digital marketing tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and drive innovative content strategies.
