Our client a well-established multi-office law firm, are recruiting for an experienced Family legal secretary / Legal Assistant to join their Family department based in Wickford. Our client is committed to providing excellent customer service, if you're an experience Family Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant our client would like to hear from you both full time and part time considered.
The Role
- As a Family Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant you will provide full secretarial support to the fee earner
- Using digital dictation system to produce correspondence related to family matters
- Meeting with clients taking notes
- Diary management
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, courts
- Dealing with Divorce, Separation, Co-Habitation, Finances ,Civil partnerships, Child care matters
- Preparation of trial bundles
- General administration ,including filing ,photocopying, faxing and scanning
The Candidate
- At least 1 year's Family Legal Secretarial experience essential
- Fast and accurate typing skills including digital audio systems
- Experience with case management
- Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel ,Outlook
- Excellent communication skills and a sympathetic ear
- Full or Part Time hours considered
- Pleasant working environment
