What You Will Do:
- Lead the Product and Tooling Design Team, ensuring product designs are suitable for manufacture and meet customer requirements.
- Manage tooling specification documentation and support RFQ activities for new and production running tools/equipment.
- Oversee tooling/Equipment design sign-off, final acceptance, and manage data systems linked with manufacturing processes.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned through the product life cycle, including design for manufacturability and continuous improvement activities.
- Utilise 3D and 2D CAD for product design changes and tooling improvements, and manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
- Lead and develop the team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering an environment of growth and innovation.
What You Will Bring:
- Proficiency in 3D SolidWorks, Catia software, and Microsoft Office Packages.
- Engineers with experience of Injection mould, diecast or press tooling will have the right skills for this role
- A proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and the flexibility to travel overseas as required.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis.
