We are seeking an experienced and dedicated shuttering gang to join our team for an exciting civil engineering project in the Bedlington area. The role involves installing Doka formwork systems, a crucial component in our construction process. This is a contract position with competitive pay, and the opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of Doka formwork systems according to project specifications and timelines
- Ensuring all formwork is constructed and aligned accurately
- Collaborating with site supervisors and engineers to maintain high standards of safety and quality
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
- Managing and supervising the shuttering team to ensure efficient and effective work practices
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in shuttering and formwork installation, specifically with Doka systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Commitment to health and safety regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- CSCS card
- Own tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
