Our client is a global engineering group which manufacturers large safety critical mechanical fabrications: they are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing professional to lead a small purchasing and logistics team based at their offices in southwest Birmingham (B32)
Reporting to the General Manager you will focus on formulating and implementing strategic alliances with core suppliers on a range of EPC projects whilst meeting challenging Quality, Cost and Delivery targets.
Of graduate calibre, you will preferably have CIPS qualifications, EPC knowledge and of course have relevant purchasing experience gained within a manufacturing environment such as automotive, aerospace, rail or on construction projects.
The company is currently in a rapid growth phase, and we are very keen to hear from candidates keen to develop their careers.
