An exciting opportunity for a graduate or equivalent in Engineering, ideally with Physics qualifications or experience, to join an established and interesting business in the Lancing area as an Assembly Engineer.
The Assembly Engineer will:
- Understand and follow Design Drawings and Process documents
- Set up and operate equipment as per specifications and instructions from your supervisor
- Wire bond, solder and assemble devices
- Test and inspect products in accordance with the specifications
- Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment
- Maintain and update test and inspection results
- Monitor, maintain and repair equipment as per requirements
Skills & experience required:
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
- Physics knowledge through experience or qualifications
- Excellent precision and coordination when assembling components
- Able to read and understand design drawings
