- Job Title: Temporary Groundsman
- Location: Yeovil, Somerset
- Rate of Pay: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour
- Expected duration: 2-3 months
- Working hours: Monday - Friday / 7am-4pm or 10am-6pm
HRGO Recruitment are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundsman to join our clients established school within Yeovil. The successful candidate will be required to assist with general outdoor maintenance and to collaborate with the rest of the maintenance team to upkeep the general appearance of the site.
General Duties:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and watering plants
- Make sure the site is safe for guests and students
- Monitor and maintain outdoor equipment
- Follow health and safety protocols and guidelines whilst working
- Assist where with outdoor tasks where needed by the Head of Maintenance
- Keep the site clear from debris and hazards
- Upkeep the overall appearance of the site
Requirements:
- In date DBS required
- Previous experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to work well within a team and take to instructions
- Ability to work towards deadlines and timeframes
