Personal Assistant to Vice and Assistant Principals Full time, 37 hours per week £23,702 per annum Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus

Are you an experienced and professional Personal Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity to work in a stimulating environment amongst other professionals? Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking a dedicated and flexible Personal Assistant to support the Vice and Assistant Principals in their day-to-day operations. This post reports to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the Vice and Assistant Principals calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Support in organising and coordinating business events, conferences, and other engagements.
  • Prepare and review documents, reports/presentations and minute taking.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining excellent communication.
  • Undertake various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the Executive team.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Personal Assistant supporting senior executives.
  • A strong professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Be someone who acts with integrity and manages confidentiality effectively.
