Project Engineer required for our client, a specialist leading contractor within the water industry that offers full turnkey projects on potable water, sewage treatment, and water hygiene systems across the south-west.
Project Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary up to £45,000, negotiable depending on experience
- Company vehicle
- Bonus scheme related to personal performance
- Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
- 30 days holiday, including bank holidays
- Pension scheme
Due to consistent expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Project Engineer, ideally with a strong background between the wastewater and/or civil engineering industry to join their team based out of their Taunton office, and carrying out a range of duties on residential and commercial sites across the south-west.
Project Engineer Position Responsibilities
- Travelling to customer sites to complete detailed surveys using drainage surveying equipment in order to compile quotes and provide technical recommendations to clients
- Prepare bids to be issued to clients, and develop a sales pipeline in order to achieve set targets
- Successfully take projects from the initial design and build phase through to handover to Project Manager's through accurately completing project documentation within set timeframes
- Provide technical assistance to engineers on site
- Assist throughout the delivery phase of the project
Project Engineer Position Requirements
- Strong technical understanding and background of the wastewater and/or civil engineering industry, with specific experience working on sewage treatment plants, septic tanks, and pumping stations highly desirable
- Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Strong on-site management skills, with previous experience delivering on projects within the wastewater and/or civil engineering field
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Taunton
