An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join a renowned FMCG manufacturing business in the RCT area. Due to expansion, my client is looking to grow their maintenance team. With this, you will become a member of a stable business that supports training and development.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supporting both preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment.
  • Fault finding, repairs, and breakdowns on mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Installing new plant equipment when required.
  • Conducting risk assessments.
  • Conducting hazard identification.
  • Ensuring plant safety in line with company policies and procedures

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Completed indentured apprenticeship in relevant engineering trade
  • Multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical is desirable but will consider a favoured bias.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Experience in manufacturing / process plant environment
