Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrician's Mate, you will:
- Assist qualified electricians with installation and wiring of electrical systems
- Help with organising tools and materials
- Perform basic tasks like running and dressing cables under supervision
- Ensure safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Learn, develop, and troubleshoot electrical systems with the guidance of our qualified electricians
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Good physical fitness, as the role requires manual labour
- A willingness to learn and grow within the electrical industry
- Basic knowledge of electrical tools and equipment is advantageous
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ECS or CSCS card) are preferred but not essential
- Can-do attitude and readiness to work in challenging environments
Other Job Details:
- Location: Newark (Company is based in Leicester)
- Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependant on experience)
- Job Type: Full-Time; 45 hours a week Mon-Fri (weekends available)
