Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Excellent technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering and interdisciplinary design across all project stages.
- Proficient in using standards and codes for building services.
- Knowledge of Wiring Regulations, Fire Detection Systems, General and Emergency Lighting design.
- Experience conducting MEP building services surveys with minimal supervision.
- Ability to peer review with a strong understanding of regulatory and standards documentation.
- Experience working on a variety of projects through different RIBA stages, including existing buildings.
- Ability to undertake essential calculations, apply electrical theory, and understand 3-phase LV systems.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, project managers, and contractors.
- Previous consultancy experience, appreciating the value of complementary specialisms such as acoustics and fire engineering.
- Autonomous approach: able to lead small to medium projects and support large projects.
- Chartered engineer or close to achieving it.
- Strong mentoring and supervisory skills for junior staff members.
