We are delighted to be working with a forward thinking, progressive manufacturing business, who are seeking a new (removed new) Assembly Supervisor to support their leadership team in delivering high quality assemblies for an array of industries.
Working as an assembly supervisor, you will play a fundamental part in the production process, driving quality and making impactful decisions to benefit both staff and the business. Your leadership and guidance will help shape the department, aiding growth for you personally, whilst also supporting colleagues on their journey.
Duties as an Assembly Supervisor will include but not limited to:
- Support the day-to-day activities of the assembly team, ensuring that production schedules are adhered to and that all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Manage, motivate, and mentor a team of assemblers, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Monitor assembly processes to ensure that all products meet company quality standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the team operates in a safe working environment.
Coordinate with the production manager to ensure that all necessary materials and resources are available for production runs.
Maintain accurate records of production metrics, attendance, and any issues, providing regular reports to senior management.
The ideal Assembly Supervisor will have:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- The ability to co-ordinate teams and deliver high quality finished goods.
- Previous supervisory experience.
Working hours will be 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-2pm on a Friday.
