Job description:

Due to expansion, we have a newly created role for a Food Regulatory Officer to join our international team. Working within this autonomous role you will have responsibility for your own regions and network. We are also open to candidates who have done food EU/ UK labelling seeking that next step to broaden their international skill set as well as those already working in wider regions outside these.

Our international business has grown incredibly strongly over the last few years, and we have plans to enter new geographies and categories in the coming years. Premier Foods has presence, in North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australasia.

The role...

We require an individual who can provide food regulatory support in the launch and technical maintenance of products globally. The aim is to ensure compliance with local food regulations in all markets where Premier Foods operates. Improving technical standards and processes within the international team is also part of the role, with support from the Central Technical team. This includes areas such as Food Regulations, Specifications, Quality, and Food Safety to align with the international growth strategy.

Key Accountabilities...

  • Regulatory
  • Product quality definition and approval
  • Information sharing with Customers
  • Agreement of manufacturing standards and specifications
  • Sign off artwork, market regulatory requirements, provision of data to support export product
  • Technical Interaction with International customers
  • Technical documentation and support to export new products

Key Requirements..

  • 1-2 year experience in a regulatory or specification environment
  • Retailer and/or internal customer support experience
  • Managing multiple small projects at any one time
  • Familiar with Product Specification databases
  • Familiar with recipe formulations
