Randstad are partnered with the Empower Learning Academy Trust and are currently looking for aspiring Teaching Assistants to work in their schools starting from September onwards.
This is your chance to work with an outstanding team, gather new experiences and kick start your career in education. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of some of the additional needs children may have, and will be willing to learn new things. Experience is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Support KS3 and KS4 students who have additional educational needs
- Manage behaviour in the classroom
- Work closely with the whole SEN department to provide support for all students
- Provide intervention sessions
- Support students learning outside of the classroom by providing 1:1 and group support
To be successful you will have:
- Experience working with children
- Passion to work with children and pursue as a career
- Be reliable and flexible
- Be able to provide two recent satisfactory references
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one (we will support with the application)
