We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Food Technician to support the food technology department in preparing resources and ensuring smooth, safe practical sessions for students. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

- Position - Food Technician
- Type of work - Assisting the food technology department, setting up equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean environment
- Start date - ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration - Temporary with potential for permanent placement
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Full-time, with flexibility based on school requirements
- Hours - 8:30 am - 15:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a food technician or similar role, ideally in a school setting
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable, but training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
