Account Executive – Insurance
Location – Staffordshire
Salary Up to £45,000 DOE + company car
Working Hours 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Executive to join a leading insurance services company. Our client is happy to look at hybrid working dependent upon your location; however, you will be required to attend the office one day a week.
Role overview
The Account Executive will be responsible for driving business growth through new client acquisition and managing existing accounts. With nationwide travel and a company car included, the role involves attending pre-generated appointments, handling claim issues, and converting quotes to sales. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities
- Accurately obtain, assess and present all information necessary regarding prospects/clients and their insurances to enable colleagues to approach the insurance market, prepare quotations and secure new and existing business.
- Achieve new business income objectives.
- Achieve renewal retention objectives.
- Ensure all FCA rules and company policies and procedures are fully complied with.
- Gather and present information on prospects/clients and their insurance needs.
- Managing your own diary to attend appointments.
About You
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Commercial Insurance, preferably with a Broker.
- Excellent interpersonal and sales skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
- Opportunity to work hybrid dependent upon your location - however, will need to attend the office one day a week.
