We are representing a dynamic company in the insurance sector that has experienced significant growth and is looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join their expanding Finance Team. Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile premiums, commissions, and financial transactions.
- Perform month-end reconciliations of premium bordereaux and receipts.
- Manage the timely movement of funds between accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports.
- Resolve underwriting queries and liaise with clients and brokers.
- Prepare monthly claims bordereaux and manage fund account payments.
- Support general administrative functions for the underwriting team.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of relevant finance experience, with a foundational understanding of
accounting principles.
- Proficient in Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication
abilities.
- A proactive team player who can also work independently and manage
multiple priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Familiarity with financial software is preferred; knowledge of Transactor is a
plus.
