Accounts Receivable Supervisor, £32,000+bonus & strong benefits, Blackburn (Flexi)
Position Overview:
As an Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Team Lead, you will be at the forefront of our clients finance operations, leading a small team responsible for managing our accounts receivable processes. You will oversee the entire accounts receivable cycle, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established policies and procedures. Your role will also involve mentoring and developing team members, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles.
Whilst experience in Senior Accounts Receivable & Credit Control is preferred, we encourage Accounts Payable Supervisors to apply as well!
Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Supervisor:
- Supervise and coordinate accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.
- Review and analyze aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and implement strategies to minimize outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues and building strong relationships.
Key experience for the Accounts Receivable Supervisor:
- Experience training / supervising / manageing a team is essential
- Finance experience is essential
- Shared Service Experaince is preferred but not essential
