A Secondary School based in Central Birmingham is looking for a Safeguarding Administrator. The role is long term cover and potentially may be til the end term.
The role is term time only, Monday - Friday, 8am- 4.00 pm. The role is to start in as soon as possible.
Your new role
You will be working with the Designated Safeguarding Person, supporting them with all the administration around school Safeguarding and Child Protection.
This will involve supporting all paperwork around pupil records and dealing with correspondence, phone calls and liaising with outside agencies. The role will involve working with sensitive and confidential data.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working in school administration and will ideally have worked in a similar role supporting safeguarding or dealing with pastoral issues.
You will have a knowledge and understanding of the key issues in dealing with Safeguarding within schools and know how to deal with issues of a sensitive nature and how to handle confidential information.
