Role
We are currently recruiting a Claims Agent to strengthen our clients Claims Department based in Bristol. We are looking for a customer focused individual who has a background of fast paced customer service and administration-based roles.
Responsibilities
- To validate new claim requests against clearly defined policies and issue claims forms to customers where appropriate.
- To validate returned claim forms against clearly defined policies to establish the company are liable for loss and damage in transit issuing settlement or rejecting where appropriate.
- Manage customer interactions via telephone and email ensuring customer's expectations are always appropriately met.
- Reviewing complex claims
- Managing the customer experience and providing updates throughout the claim lifecycle
- Answering a high volume of calls and making calls to assist with ongoing case management.
- Complete ad hoc tasks in relation to the above when appropriate.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- Proven and demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and the ability to build a quick rapport with the customer.
- You will be always polite and professional and have a willingness to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work as a team player and on your own initiative
- Excellent administration skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office / Google programmes
- Demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem solve.
