Account Manager

Posted by AF Selection.

This is a great opportunity to work within a small agency with some very large clients in a truly 360 account handling role. This is an agency with really strong foundations, and they offer a really inspiring and encouraging team environment and their campaigns are anything but ordinary! They're growing again and need someone with some account handling experience to become their next fabulous employee.

The role:

As Account Manager it will be your role to support the MD and Operations Director in being the go-to person for around 10 accounts, across a mix of sectors. The agency has some particular skills across sport, leisure, FMCG but also b2b, so variety really is the spice of life here.

You'll lead client communications, manage projects and coordinate with internal teams to deliver campaigns on time and to a high standard. Campaigns are also varied, although predominately digitally focussed, so you'll manage anything from Google Ads (not the implementation), social media marketing, email workflows and SEO. You'll manage ad spend, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram to maximise ROI, as well as creating email marketing campaigns, and monitor SEO strategies. You'll also be comfortable with preparing reports on campaign performance.

You'll line manage a couple of Account Executives, mentoring them to be the best version of themselves as well.

What we're looking for:

This role will suit someone who is perhaps fed up of being a small cog in a big wheel, and who really wants to be seen within their work environment. We're ideally looking for someone who has previous agency experience, but our client is really flexible as to level of account management experience, so you could be a recent AM or an SAM - there is definitely room for progression whatever level you come in at. You'll need to have an understanding of Google Ads, as you'll need to create content, ad strategies etc, and you'll also be able to react to campaigns and performances, but you won't need to implement the actual ads. Knowledge of social media marketing, email marketing workflows and SEO is essential.

What's on Offer?

This agency is definitely all about fun and pushing boundaries - they're a little bit cheeky and they've got a great sense of humour. They offer a hybrid working model (after probation) and you'll really enjoy your days in the office. Health and well-being is really important to them and there's a list as long as your arm of positive procedures that they've put in place to guard your mental health and to try something new.

Salary will be somewhere between £30-40k but that will depend on your level of experience. They're centrally based, really close to train stations and parking, and they're really just a delight to work with.
