The purpose of this role

As the Project Sales Engineer (Aftermarket) you'll focus on supporting the needs of customers by providing technical expertise, solutions and improvements for existing equipment. You'll be overseeing all aspects of order lifecycle from concept through to delivery and play a crucial role in delivering technical support and solutions to customers.

As an Project Sales Engineer (Aftermarket), you'll play a vital role in securing new business, as well as the execution of orders and projects. You will benefit from 25 days holiday (+BH's), free on-site parking, opportunities for overseas travel, and regular social events.

As Project Sales Engineer (Aftermarket) you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing end user technical support to customers, ensuring their needs are met with the best possible solutions
  • Developing solutions into accurate and detailed proposals to address specific customer requirements
  • Effective order execution managing all aspects of project and ensuring timely completion of activities whilst maximising profit and minimising risk
  • Working closely with the sales & engineering teams to provide comprehensive support and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest product developments and industry trends to offer expert advice and recommendations
  • Preparing and maintaining detailed documentation of customer interactions, solutions provided, and any relevant technical information.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working in an Engineering environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts
  • Strong project execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to accurately interpret technical documentation
