**Management Accountant

We are in search of a Management Accountant to join our finance team within an SME. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing accurate financial information to management, aiding strategic decision-making and contributing to the financial health of the company.
**Day-to-day of the role:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reports, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
- Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance.
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
- Liaising with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context.
- Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
- Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management, and internal controls.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent numerical skills to handle large amounts of data.
- Detail-oriented and organised.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- A recognised qualification in accounting (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
