Are you an experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician with a background in aerospace? Do you possess strong skills in Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant Inspection? If so, we want to hear from you!

We're working with a leading aerospace company known for its innovation, precision, and commitment to safety. They're on the lookout for a skilled NDT Technician to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of aircraft components.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) on a wide range of aircraft components.
  • Perform regular control checks (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure consistent and reliable testing procedures.
  • Support the maintenance and function of plant equipment, ensuring all NDT machinery operates efficiently.
  • Assist with stock level monitoring of consumables, helping to ensure testing operations run smoothly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with 5S standards.
  • Collaborate with the SOP Engineer to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and local instructions.
  • Aid in machine maintenance tasks (both preventative and scheduled) to prevent downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all EASA, FAA, and company quality standards, as well as health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • EN4179 certification in Non-Destructive Testing - Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI).
  • Proven experience in an NDT environment, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturers' overhaul and repair manuals.
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
