Business Analyst - MoD DV Cleared

Consultants will work within our Digital?consulting team. They may also operate within wider group project teams from other business units. In addition, they will need to interact with clients and other project stakeholders. They will support a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions. From time to time this may include working with consultants from different agencies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assisting the team of Analysts & Consultants on a range of tasks, to include:

  • Advise clients on best practice Business Analysis methodologies
  • Documenting the As-Is state and identifying To-Be processes
  • Capturing modelling requirements
  • Managing data capture and validation
  • Supporting Data Analysts in the production of systems and models
  • Analysis of model output, producing reports and commentary
  • Supporting client's use of model outputs for decision making
  • Testing of systems and models against requirements
  • Conducting assurance checks of implemented systems and models
  • Supporting technical solution outputs to BAU services
  • Preparing written project communication materials
  • Preparing formal project progress and other reports
  • Liaising with the client, contractors and designers

Other responsibilities, to include:

  • Supporting the growth of the Digital Business Analysis service offering by preparing presentations and other materials for client pitches, internal and external comms.
  • Inputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database tools, e.g. opportunity tracking, invoicing. Please note training will be provided on these.
  • Supporting junior Business Analyst's career growth, with coaching and line management opportunities if desired.

QUALIFICATIONS

This role will require good analytic and strong numeracy skills with the ability to understand and present data in different representations.? Ability, or the desire to learn, a basic understanding of languages such as VBA and SQL is preferred.

  • Degree in an analytic subject. This is not required, but preferred.
  • Business Analysis qualifications such as BCS or IIBA (desirable). Alternatively, extensive experience will be considered.
  • Candidates should hold DV level clearance.
