Seaton Delaval Hall continues to go from strength to strength, having welcomed 146,000 visitors in the last year, for the first time. Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you'll be part of the Visitor Welcome team working at Seaton Delaval Hall. This role is key in supporting our belief in 'Nature, beauty, history. What it's like to work here

Reporting to the Welcome manager, you'll be part of the welcome and service team at Seaton Delaval Hall.

As a Service Assistant you'll work across several visitor areas, helping different departments deliver high-quality customer service.

As the public face of our property, you'll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit around several areas of site. From assisting with welcome and admissions, car park support, welcoming everyone into our historic buildings, discussing the history of the property, and sharing our stories and spirit of place.

Interview date: Tuesday 17th September

Hours/working pattern: This role is part time, 3 days a week, with some working day flexibility depending on the needs of the site.

What you'll be doing

Service Assistants play an important role in supporting various property teams in greeting and helping our visitors. No two days are the same and you can expect to meet lots of different people and help in various visitor areas. Most importantly you'll be talking to people, answering any questions they have to make sure they can find everything they need to enjoy their visit. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with a passion for delivering great customer service.
