Sales Executive

My client, located in Stevenage, is seeking a dynamic sales executive to join their team.

They are in search of individuals who are highly motivated by financial incentives and possess the drive to engage in proactive cold calling.

While prior sales experience is preferred, they are open to considering candidates who are eager to enter the sales field and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily sales activities.
  • Proactively call customers to identify their needs and offer suitable solutions.
  • Review purchase history to identify sales opportunities and develop a sales strategy.
  • Prepare quotes for projects by determining material needs from technical drawings (training provided if necessary).
  • Communicate with project managers, quantity surveyors (QS), and estimators.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling or increasing account spending
  • Engage in other customer activities, such as visiting customers, making presentations, and attending trade events and exhibitions.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Experience in sales an advantage but not essential
  • Strong IT Skills including all Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team
  • Willingness to carry out repetitive tasks including cold calling.
