Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students. You will be expected to create a positive learning environment, use a variety of teaching strategies, and maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver outstanding lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to support student learning and development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level, preferably in Year 4.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Desirable

  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning.
  • Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and strategies to support diverse learners.
  • Experience in leading extracurricular activities or initiatives.
