Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK
- Experience of teaching science in KS3 and KS4
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Enthusiasm for professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in developing the science curriculum, integrating cutting-edge resources and innovative teaching methods.
- Innovate and think creatively in delivering the curriculum
- Ensure students are working towards objectives and the science curriculum
- Facilitate real learning experiences for the children
- Manage the classroom to support all students' learning needs.
- Assess student progress through various methods and regularly update on student progress
- Build rapport with your students and other members of the science department
- Ensuring safety and well-being of students is a top priority
