This is an exciting one! My client is one of the leading marketing agencies in the South West, to help achieve their goals, I'm partnering with them helping look for an experienced

Senior Account Manager

with agency experience to join their growing Client Services team.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimising a portfolio of B2B and B2C brands, with a particular focus on integrated channels across content, web development, social media, creative, design and print.

You will be a senior member of the client services team and help drive business growth through best in class client and account management and develop pro-active account plans and strategies in order to meet client retention and budget targets. As a confident marketing expert, you will also identify, propose, upsell and implement the most appropriate campaigns, projects or solutions for their clients.

Key responsibilities as a Senior Account Manager:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, updating them regularly on campaign aims, processes and results
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and administer day-to-day processes
  • Work closely with clients to understand their overall business objectives and make recommendations
  • Work closely with internal teams (creative, planning, digital etc) to ensure the right strategic approach for each client & set their marketing strategy.
  • Ensure clients have set KPIs and a clear growth plan
  • Ensure that all budgets are adhered to and that all campaigns are delivered within the agreed timescales
  • Contribute to monthly account reporting & analysis
  • Identify opportunities and help to bring in extra work / upsells to achieve team monthly target
  • Help to manage, coach and mentor the team
  • Develop and implement best practices in Account Management and Client Services

Requirements of a Senior Account Manager:

  • A strong background in integrated marketing and account management within an agency environment is essential.
  • Good understanding of SEO, PPC, Social Media and keen interest in always learning about the digital and marketing landscape would be advantageous.
  • Confident and effective influencer at a senior level, both internally and with existing and prospective clients.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at any given time.
  • An eye for detailed combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
  • Great presentation skills when dealing with clients.
