Job Title: FLT Counterbalance Driver
Location: Ross on Wye
Pay Rate: £12.20 p/h
Contract: Temporary to perm
Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12pm Saturday
gap personnel Gloucester are currently recruiting a FLT Counterbalance driver to busy timber yard near Ross-on-Wye.
You will be using a counterbalance forklift, and a current counterbalance forklift licence is a requirement for this role. You must also be comfortable reading quantities and dimensions on order sheets, as well as using a tape measure accurately.
Main Duties
- Forklift driving
- Manual handling
- Counting and measuring
- Accurate use of picking note
- Customer service
- Working independently
Performance will be judged on:
- Safe and efficient working practices
- Accuracy of order picking
- Demeanour
- Speed of customer and order turnaround
This is a physical role and will suit someone used to manually handling products as well as the use of a forklift.
Working Shifts and Hours:
- 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12pm Saturday
Hourly Pay Rates
- £12.20 per hour
- Time and half paid for any hours worked over the first 40 within a week.
As part of the selection process, inductions will be held on site in line with their health and safety policies.
