Qualified Accountant Glasgow Salary up to £47k (DOE) + Benefits
Lusona Consultancy have a new opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join our client within a rare and exciting service sector business. This is an all-encompassing finance role that will include a mixture of management accounts, budgeting, statutory accounts and analysis. Perfect for someone who enjoys collaborating with both financial and non-financial stakeholders within a business.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the completion of the monthly consolidate management accounts
- Supporting with all month end activity, including reconciliations and queries
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting preparation for group consolidation
- Analysing any movements/variances and communicating with the corresponding stakeholders
- Contributing to the statutory accounts/reports and balance sheet review
- Responsibility for the fixed asset register
- Liaising with external auditors to deal with any queries and work towards timely successful completion
- Assisting with tax returns and liaising with external stakeholders regarding insurance requirements
- Driving continuous process improvement across the finance team
Applicants must be a Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA), with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. This is suitable for those within industry and commerce or a motivated qualified accountant looking to make their first move out of Accountancy Practice
