Description
- Managing the purchase ledger, ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements to ensure all payments are up to date.
- Processing of payment runs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assisting with month-end procedures and reports in the finance department.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and resolving any queries or disputes.
- Assisting with other ad-hoc duties within the finance team as required.
- Ensuring adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the finance team.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger should have:
- A solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
