Day to Day of the Role:
- Manage your own caseload of PI claims.
- Assist senior team members with the preparation and management of more complex cases.
- Engage with clients, building rapport and trust through excellent communication.
- Run claims through the OIC portal and understand the litigation process.
- Produce schedule of loss statements, take witness statements, and assess/redact bank statements.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve collective goals and provide support when needed.
- Focus on personal learning and development within the PI and Clinical Negligence field.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-3 years' experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role.
- At least 1 year's experience in Personal Injury and/or Clinical Negligence, ideally managing your own caseload.
- Knowledge of the OIC portal and litigation process.
- Excellent telephone manner and client service skills.
- Eagerness to take responsibility and a friendly, approachable nature.
- Collaborative work ethic and commitment to ongoing learning and development.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Strong IT skills.
