We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Director with strong public health and epidemiology experience to join our team. You will provide expert advice, guidance and support on the disease risk models, as well as providing clinical leadership of the Health Risk Assessment as a whole.

Please note this is a part-time position, where we are looking for 8 hours per month on a remote basis.
Rate: £100 per hour

Requirements

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that products are safe, evidence-based and data-driven.
  • Contribute to and advise on the strategic direction and product development.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the products they are responsible for, to the clients they serve. This will be required for both internal and external audiences.
  • Provide clinical expertise within the scope of the Clinical Director's own qualifications and scope of practice, for the clinical team and across the organisation where required.
  • Encourage and promote a positive working environment and act in a trustworthy, professional and respectful manner.
  • Collaborate with and perform well as part of the multi-disciplinary Clinical Team.
  • Provide final clinical sign off for the Health Risk Assessment product.
  • Advise the leadership team when required.

What are we looking for?

  • Registered doctor with current license to practice, with extensive public health and epidemiology experience.
  • Contribute to expert discussion with other clinical directors and assist other clinical directors if required.
  • Accountable for delivering the clinical product to organisational needs and ensuring it's managed via an aligned product roadmap.
  • Understanding and forecasting risk profile of the bespoke products and reporting accordingly.
  • Networking to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with new and existing clients when required regarding product content and development.
  • Attending relevant meetings both internally and externally, as required.
  • Support the wider activities of the clinical team including participating in team meetings and continuous professional development.
  • Accountability for ensuring reporting (via the organisations chosen task management system) for project management and quality management purposes is fulfilled.
  • Create clinical logic appropriate for use in digital healthcare products and accurately communicate to other team members the requirements to meet clinical safety and accuracy of the products and their content.

Requirements

  • A clinician with significant experience working in a public health role or in epidemiology related academia.
  • In possession of strong clinical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Logical, independent thinker with a learning mindset.
  • Strong interest in transforming the delivery of healthcare.
