We are currently recruiting for a boutique financial planning practice in Hitchin who are looking for an experinced Cleint Relationship Manager to join their team.

This role is full-time, and office based. But they do have a lovely office!

You would need to have gained experience at an IFA, financial planning firm or wealth manager and be able to easily get to Hitchin.

They are an established, successful, and financially secure business with a strong brand. They have very high standards, a friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity toimmerse yourself in business administration and client relationship management and become a vital support to the Managing Director.

The role

Working with the MD and other team members, you will be responsible for business administration and client servicing tasks in the office.

  •  Submitting and processing new business.
  •  Communicating with our clients to develop the relationship.
  •  Proactively engaging with our clients via various means including phone, email, post and WhatsApp.
  •  Producing new quotes and obtaining valuations.
  •  Follow up emails to clients after adviser meetings and phone calls.
  •  Liaising with the financial providers, investment companies and other third parties that we use.
  •  Using specialist software including Transact and Intelliflo.

Essential Skills

  •  Experience gained working in an IFA or financial planning practice.
  •  Be able and willing to work in the office for your standard working hours.
  •  Be able to write succinct, grammatically accurate emails, letters, and texts.
  •  Have excellent communication skills (especially phone manor) and be able to develop strong relationships with clients.
  •  Personable and confident with a positive attitude.
  •  Be a team player and keen to join a small dynamic team.
  •  Be an 'ideas' person who strives for efficiency and wants to have an impact on the business.
  •  Strong in Maths and possess good IT skills.
  •  Share our character traits - excellence, accuracy, courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism.
