Description

  • To act as the first point of contact on campus for all face-to-face enquiries from students, staff or members of the public, ensuring that a prompt and professional response is given at all times.
  • Respond to enquiries through all communication channels, including face to face, telephonephone, email, live chat and social media, adhering to defined key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring accurate and professional responses at all times.
  • Provide information and support on a range of enquiries including those relating to new students transitioning to the campus and/or a new course, assessments, timetabling, print services and more.
  • Understand other services available to students and how they are accessed to effectively signpost and enable the best possible experience for each individual student.
  • Understand the programme portfolio, entry requirements, assessments requirements and regulations, policies and procedures of the University to advise students and staff
  • Work in collaboration with the University's Student Immigration Compliance & Advice (SICA) team to support international students and ensure compliance with Home Office regulations.
  • Support and actively engage with any processes relating to any incoming students ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of induction and enrolment activities. Lead the delivery of welcome events for incoming students (face to face and/or online).
  • Work with the Students' Union to ensure Freshers' Fairs are planned, organised and delivered to maximise the student experience and facilitate their transition.
  • Support the delivery of any external events on campus.
