Our client is looking for a Payroll Administrator to support the Group Payroll Manager in ensuring accurate timely processing of all Payrolls within the group.
Key Responsibilities as Payroll Administrator:
- Ensuring professionalism and quality is maintained throughout all activities
- Weekly Payroll
- Process weekly payroll(s)
- Supervise the Payroll assistant in processing the above
- Process monthly payroll(s)
- Dealing with payroll related queries
- Preparation of expenses including VAT breakdown
- Ensure statutory returns are submitted on time
- Prepare costing information for corporate allocations
- Provide payroll /costing reports
- Maintenance of payroll and personnel records and documentation
- Maintenance of employees records e.g. notify HMRC and pension providers for any new starters/leavers
- Process BACS payments
- Compiling data for P11ds
- Provide support in other areas of the Finance Department as and when required
- Complying with company policies and procedures
- Complying with SHEQ procedures and relevant legislation
- Ensuring professionalism and quality is maintained throughout all activities
- Filing, scanning and photocopying
- Compiling correspondence
Key Requirements:
- CIPP and/or AAT ideally but not essential
- Knowledge of payroll
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic accounting knowledge
- PAYE understanding
