They are seeking an experienced Production/Workshop Manager to oversee a diverse range of machining talent on the shop floor.
The company operate by producing precision products for numerous industries throughout the UK and around the world, including proto-typing and product design.
Duties:-
- Oversee a team of up 20 people across various disciplines
- Undertake training and development of staff members
- Manage the engineering and tooling functions
- Oversee product quality
- Keep shop floor presentable and ensure H&S processes being followed
- Monitor maintenance and equipment
- Occasional customer liaison when required
You will ideally be a team player, comfortable working alongside senior management and workforce alike.
You will oversee target setting and the meeting of these, by motivating a varied workforce.
Benefits:-
- IRO £45,000p/a negotiable depending on experience
- Hours of work 9.00-5.00 Mon-Thurs and Fri 9.00-12.00
