Book Keeper

Our client, a reputable internationally growing business in Southampton is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team on a contract basis. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in finance and accounting, who is looking for a flexible work schedule. Times and days can be flexible.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Managing the Purchase Ledger, including balance sheet reconciliations and processing purchase invoices.
  • Handling and checking the Payroll for staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance of timesheets and invoice.
  • Overseeing Credit Control, addressing and prioritising queries effectively.
  • Assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts as needed.
  • Liaising with external parties for auditing etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar Bookkeeping role. Confident in Xero
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting systems and software.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Brilliant communicator to work and talk with international clients.
