The role is working on a continental shift pattern with a highly competitive salary of circa £49,000.
The Role
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for -
- Highlighting inefficiencies with machinery and equipment, whilst generating practical solutions
- Maintain asset performance and initiate process improvement
- Complete PPM tasks efficiently and effectively
- Respond to breakdowns within a timely manner
- Actively participate in root cause analysis activities
- Undertake training and development to improve skills, knowledge and understanding
The Person
The successful Maintenance Engineer will have -
- Minimum BTEC/ HNC qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience of working within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably within the consumer sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Utilise problem solving capabilities and root cause experience to generate practical solutions
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach
