Are you a mechanical engineer with a range of skills and experience looking for a career change, to learn a new industry or trade and looking to boost earnings through overtime and door to door paid travel, and to transition into a role within the water industry?
Are you from the motor trade, HGV's, mechanical engineering, or similar? Do you have a range of skills including fitting, maintenance and installation? Are you looking for a new role with in the water industry?
On offer is a service and installations role with a large multinational company as pumps engineer. You will have full training on their equipment, skills development with both mechanical and electrical training and you can attain recognised qualifications for both.
This company are very well established, 100 years+ and due to continued growth and expansion of the team in the Thames region are looking for several new hires within in the team.
The ideal candidate will hold mechanical qualifications, ideally some basic electrical fault finding with a multi meter to be able to build upon these skills and hold a full UK driving licence.
The role:
- Mechanical Install, service & Maintenance of pumps and related equipment
- Working on Thames water sites
- Brown water, Wastewater, and treatment sites
- Field based, Door to door travel, and lots of overtime
- Full Training & Skills Development (mechanical & Electrical)
The Person:
- Mechanical technical skills
- Mechanical Qualification NVQ level 2 minimum (ideally level 3)
- Full UK DL
- Looking for a Field based role with Door to door and overtime
