Compliance Officer

CCP is delighted to be working once again with a longstanding client in the financial services sector. Our client, based in Cheadle, is looking to bring on a Compliance Officer in a full-time, fully office-based role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in insolvency and exposure to FCA regulations, or for someone from a team leader or management background within the financial or insolvency sector who's used to managing people and has a solid understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks.

Location: Cheadle (office-based)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm & Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

What the role involves:

  • Supporting the business to stay compliant with industry regulations and internal policies
  • Preparing and delivering training sessions and presentations to staff
  • Conducting internal audits and highlighting areas for improvement
  • Reviewing processes to ensure alignment with FCA expectations
  • Keeping policies and procedures up to date
  • Getting involved in compliance projects across the business

Who they're looking for:

  • Experience in a compliance role (ideally within insolvency or a regulated environment)
  • OR team leader/management experience within financial services/insolvency, used to managing teams and processes
  • Some exposure to FCA or other regulatory frameworks
  • Great attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Strong communication skills - especially when delivering training or presenting
  • Confident with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
